The game of his life: For Cody Jamieson, lacrosse is everything, which makes his journey that much more fulfilling - LACROSSE GUIDE 2010
"Lacrosse means everything to me, actually," Jamieson said. "Without lacrosse I don't know where I would be today. I can't imagine myself being at Syracuse University if it wasn't for lacrosse … Everybody I have ever known and all the great people I've met … I have met through lacrosse."

Bristol angles for good visuals. Makes them look important and feel more important. If Louisiana-Monroe brought a full gym and some oversized signs to Gameday, you'd see a lot more Sun Belt action on Saturdays during the winter.

Syracuse goalie John Galloway strives to transform weakness into strength | Orange Lacrosse Blog - syracuse.com
Galloway finds himself in an unusual and admittedly frustrating position as his third season as SU’s starting goalie approaches. It is the second half of the equation — the ability to fling long clearing passes with uncanny accuracy — that commands attention when discussing his game. Galloway wants the focus to shift to his skill as a shot stopper.

Keeping the Momentum: Five Storylines To Watch for in Syracuse's Spring Practice | Bleacher Report
There are a number of question marks and plenty of intriguing story lines for the Orange faithful to keep an eye on when the calendar flips to March and Doug Marrone’s squad takes the practice field once again.

Syracuse: Threat Level Orange | NBADraft.net
Why are teams having such difficulty moving the ball through this year's zone defense, as opposed to the 2-3 defense Syracuse has used in the past? It all starts with the words "team defense".

The Big Orange Bloggers: Coach Boeheim On Dan Patrick Talks NCAA Expansion And I Give My Solution
"My solution is to use the NIT as a pre-NCAA tournament qualifier using any conference tournament winners who would not have otherwise qualified and at large teams that were on the bubble. Not just big conference teams either as you now can select that team who went 26-1 all season but is in a smaller conference and lost a close game in their conference tournament(or with more seeds open now, you can place them in the big dance)."

Syracuse's Jim Boeheim: NCAA tournament should expand 'now more than ever' - Campus Rivalry: College Football & Basketball News, Recruiting, Game Picks, and More - USATODAY.com
"Absolutely, they should (expand the tournament)," Boeheim said. "Now more than ever. See, yesterday (Monday), Connecticut was out of the tournament, and they still may be out, but they're a team that can win games in the Tournament. That's why we need an expansion."

I joined the fine folks over at Black Heart Gold Pants for a lively discussion about Big Ten expansion and Syracuse's possible role in it.  Give a listen, won't you?

Bud Poliquin is a story of spring practice?

Who the hell cares. The Bleacher Report article lost all credibility with me the minute that came on my screen. Bud will be Bud, and you can read him or not, but to call that a spring practice piece is stretching things.
