being undefeated away from home would offset that, i would think, if it is more impressive to win away than home.

I’ve never really gotten the whole infatuation with home court advantage. A good team should be able to win at home and on the road. Let’s face it, the fans aren’t playing the game, even though they can have an effect on the noise level and concentration of players.
