Interim DePaul coach Tracy Webster reportedly has offered a suburban eighth-grader a scholarship to play for the Blue Demons beginning in 2014. Webster recently made the pitch to Jahlil Okafor, a 14-year-old student at Rosemont Elementary School, but the ESPNChicago.com report indicated that Okafor wouldn't make a decision for quite some time. Okafor, who stands a reported 6-foot-7 1/2, is distantly related to New Orleans Hornets center Emeka Okafor.-Chicago Tribune
