They know ahead of time “if I get possession, I want a time out” “If I dont get a first down, immediate time out.” Jimmy B called it before scoop even got the ball. A good ref would be expecting it and ready to blow his whistle. Its like a late whistle on a foul. It still happened. The time out was called, it just took a long time to be granted.

And honestly, if we didnt get the time out, scoop was fouled. 2 shots.
