From its humble beginnings in a pumpkin patch to its journey to some redneck Walmart in Western Maryland, this pumpkin defied the odds to become a good luck charm for the Syracuse Orange. It made its debut in Morgantown, WV, on October 23rd where it helped propel SU to an unlikely victory, changing the tone of the season. Following the game, it hibernated for over two months in an Amana cryogenic freezer in an undisclosed location in metropolitan DC. It was thawed for the Inaugural Pinstripe Bowl in the Bronx, NY. As is evident from the outcome of the game, it had some luck left. It's final resting place was River Ave @ 161st Street. After this picture was snapped, it was promptly scooped up by a hungry Kansas State fan.
