The Orange are at Michigan Friday night. They still have a long way to go before Big East Conference play starts, so it's hardly time to be concerned. A lot of this might just be Boeheim trying to get some of his youngsters to focus and not take these early games for granted.

Lacrosse Star Paul Rabil Gaining Knowledge From Mentor Bill Belichick - New England Patriots - NESN.com
As Gillette Stadium emptied out Sunday night after the Patriots’ 31-28 victory against the Colts, two people emerged from the tunnel, lacrosse sticks in hand, and caused cleanup crew in attendance to pause for a double-take. It was Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and Boston Cannons midfielder Paul Rabil, and the pair played catch for almost a half hour. They’ve known each other for about four years, due to Belichick’s involvement with the game of lacrosse and his relationship with Johns Hopkins head coach Dave Pietramala.

Dirty as in “Meet me in restroom for some naughty time” or dirty as in, “If you publish this video of me next to this guy, I will hunt you down and make sure you never have the urge to have sex again?”

At least he was cheering

I’d rather have gibberish screaming drunk townie than half the people who are normally in there sitting on their hands. It doesn’t matter what you’re yelling, as long as you’re yelling.

+10000

When Syracuse recovered that fumble on the punt in the first half, GCM238 and I jumped up from our seats screaming…and of course everyone behind us was nailed to their seats. Unreal.

The Sad Thing Is...

I am this guy at my son’s football games and I love it. I generally have no voice the next day but don’t give a damn. And as much as I love my son, I would be even louder in the Dome.

Paul Rabil + Bill Belichick

= The combo from hell

Also, speaking of the Big O guy, you’d be surprised how many people think Syracuse is “the Big Orange” down here

It didn't sound English

It sounded like he was saying oh beego. I googled beego to see if it was a foreign word and found the answer quite funny.

LOL

The Urban Dictionary definition is mind-blowingly funny/bizarre.

This guy

is like every guy at baseball games that thinks it’s clever to yell “Swing!!!!” every time the visiting team is up to bat and on every pitch.

Without Gerry McNamara we wouldn't have won 10 f-- games, not 10

One of the key contests in Syracuse's march to the national championship in 1959 was a titanic clash with unbeaten Penn State on Nov. 7, 1959 in University Park, PA. The Nittany Lions were ranked No. 7 and the Orangemen No. 4.

The 20-18 victory propelled Syracuse to the No. 1 in both the AP and UPI polls which they held for the remainder of the season to claim the consensus National Championship. This is the Universal Newsreel account of that contest.
