Three Idiots on Sports: Who's The Better Fan: Locals or Students/Alumni
I've often wondered in the "Fandom" world, who's actually the better fan for college athletics. The locals or students/Alumni? I've been both and have been thinking lately, "At which stage was I the bigger fan?" These days, fans come in all sizes, shapes and colors. We see the makeup of these fans on game day, blogs, twitter and sports talk radio. But, who's the "King of fans"?
Harris excited that Orange will be bowling - Sports - Daily Review
"This is another one of those teams that like to smash you in the mouth," Harris said. "Definitely I think Louisville we did a lot of things offensively and defensively we can learn from for this game."
Big East stock report: Week 12 - Big East Blog - ESPN
Marcus Sales: The Syracuse receiver came into Saturday's game with just five catches for 39 yards. He equaled his season total for receptions and gained 73 yards against Rutgers, with 20 of those yards coming on the game-winning drive. The Orange had been expecting more of Sales this season, but he finally delivered in a big spot with Alec Lemon hurt.
Syracuse University offensive tackle Michael Hay a tough guy who walks a fine line | syracuse.com
"He was there. He had my back. I couldn’t imagine if I was at any other school. I had an offer from ASU (Arizona State), and if I was in Arizona they probably would have sent me right back to New York City. It meant a lot. It shows he has trust in me. He knows I’m learning, I’m trying."

Delone Carter, RB, Syracuse: An average game Saturday against UConn should put Carter over 1,000 yards for the second straight season. He's the key cog in Syracuse's offense.
Checking on ND and bowl, Pitt and Finau - Sports - The Charleston Gazette - West Virginia News and Sports -
"We're hoping for a nine-game or eight-game winner. I don't see any possible way we'd take a 6-6 [Notre Dame] team. Obviously, if they run the table, they'd be on our board at 7-5. But Syracuse, South Florida and West Virginia all have the chance to get nine wins. "We really like to look at a team that deserves to be there."
Garrett Completes Blockbuster Johnnies Class | ZagsBlog.com
To say that Amir Garrett completes a blockbuster first recruiting class for St. John’s head coach Steve Lavin does disservice to the word "blockbuster."

We've been watching Kenny videos for a few years now and I have one question --
Has anyone gone to Dewey’s to roll with Kenny? I mean, this should have been agenda item number one. What the hell, peoples?
I want Kenny-in-the-wild documentation.
You would think
but no proof yet

All the Best to Paul
But who is going to an NBDL EXHIBITION GAME? Was it even open to the public? Was it played at a YMCA?
D League games
are attended by about 200 people. They play the super loud music that the NBA teams play, so the players get used to that if for some miracle they actually get to the NBA.
I went 2 years ago to Bakersfield when Gerry and Damone Brown were playing for Reno.
Without Gerry McNamara we wouldn't have won 10 f-- games, not 10

I like Michael Hay a little bit more
after reading that article, but damn is he the weak link on the line. He whiffs so, so many blocks, and he may get Nassib killed before both their careers are over. With that said, Marrone handled that perfectly. Let him think he’s in trouble and let him realize how close he is to losing his spot, then go back and get him going before he sinks into a funk. Now he comes back in absolutley determined not to let you down. Of course he gave up a sack later, but he sucks, so you have to live with that.

in person though
the kid is a monster. Coaches love potential. You cant coach size you know? And Id rather see the team too aggressive than too soft.
**FREE FreeBradshaw***
I absolutely would as well
I’m just saying his size and aggressiveness so far has not bridged his talent gap to the point where he is not the weak link on the Oline.
