These days, my life is a little like the trailer to the Justin Bieber: Never Say Never 3D movie:
They said it would never happen...They said he would never make it...But you never stopped believing.
First, who are "They?" Who's been saying that stuff about Biebs? Shame on you, They.
Second, the point here is not that Justin Bieber and I are soul-mates. The point here is that I will be attending the Syracuse vs. UConn game on November 20th, which if extrapolated, means I'll be in Syracuse that weekend.
That's right, folks, the "We The People, Freedom-Fighters, And Liberty For All, God Bless America, Take Back America, Fight For America, The American Spirit Never Dies, These Colors Do No Run, America The Beautiful, Did I Say We The People Yet?, And Other Jingoistic Terms" National Tour (WTPFFALFAGBATBAFFATAS NDTCDNRATBDISWTPYAOJT for short) is coming home.
Syracuse, NY: 11/18 - 11/20
Branson, MO: 11/27 (double-bill with Yakov Smirnoff)
Here's the schedule of events:
Friday Night: TBD (I'm counting on you guys to tell me what we're doing. As long as it includes a ten minute candlelight vigil outside of The Empty Space Formerly Known As Darwin's, we're good).
Saturday: Book signing at How To Grow An Orange at the SU Bookstore & the SU-UConn game. Depending on the time of the game, that'll determine when the book signing will be. If it's a nooner, we'll do the signing following the game. If it's a late game, we'll do the signing beforehand.
I'd say I hope to see you there but it's basically a requirement. I mean, if I can make it, then you've got no excuse.
And what the hell...maybe we'll even throw in a trip to Chipotle if there's time...
