Around SBN: Strikeforce: Cormier vs. Barnett Fight Video Highlights

Unless Butch Jones is working on a WWE-style twist come Saturday when Zach Collaros walks onto the field on crutches while wearing a neck brace, goes to shake Ryan Nassib's hand and then hits him over the head with the crutches, tears off the neck brace and reveals that he's 100% healthy...things don't look too good for him this weekend.

Don’t forget ala Cowboy Bob Orton, he wears a cast on it for 5 years to use a weapon when he does the Hulk Hogan leg drop on opposing linebackers.

I don't buy it

Don’t fall for the ruse. Cincy cannot afford another loss… he’ll play.

Hopefully this isn’t a setup for a Chandler Jones heel-turn where he lets up on a sack, instead takes out Marinovich’s knees, and celebrates as Collaros scores a TD.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I want to see Marinovich get a sack and then push Jones and yell, “CHANDLER! GET THE TABLE!” and put him through a table.

According to Brian Bennett...

Collaros practiced today and apparently the crutches were just precautionary.

So I assume if he’s practicing and doesn’t have any setbacks he’ll be playing on Saturday.

BB

Ever a reliable source of information. Although I’ll give him credit for this one… both of Cincinnati’s assistant sports information directors, Seymour Hiney and Mike Hunt, called him to report this news. As it is double-verified, it was fit to print.

BB is a mental giant compared to this colleague though. Wow.

Its amazing how Cincy burns through QB's

1.) In 2008 college football season Dustin Grutza was the team starter who was named the team’s starter at that position following Ben Mauk’s failure to gain a 6th year of eligibility from the NCAA.

2.) In a 52–26 loss to Oklahoma Sooners, a team that would play for the national championship that season, Grutza broke his ankle and was replaced by Pike.2.

3.) Pike broke his arm and was replaced by redshirt freshman Chazz Anderson,

4.) Chazz Anderson was also injured during the same game. Fellow redshirt freshman Zach Collaros takes over

5.) Zach Collaros then entered the game and led the Bearcats to a 17–15 victory.[3

One of the key contests in Syracuse's march to the national championship in 1959 was a titanic clash with unbeaten Penn State on Nov. 7, 1959 in University Park, PA. The Nittany Lions were ranked No. 7 and the Orangemen No. 4.

The 20-18 victory propelled Syracuse to the No. 1 in both the AP and UPI polls which they held for the remainder of the season to claim the consensus National Championship. This is the Universal Newsreel account of that contest.
