The Legends Poll is out and although Syracuse did not do enough to make it into the Top 25, they did receive four votes. And now we shall shower those two voting legends with the proper love and admiration they deserve:
Former BYU coach Lavell Edwards entered the Orange at No. 24 in his poll. Huzzah!
Former Texas A&M coach R.C. Slocum also has the Orange at No. 24. We salute you!
Couple notes...
- No love from Dick MacPherson.
- Frank Broyles, who was our champion a few weeks back, didn't come through for us this time.
- Bobby Bowden kept West Virginia in his poll at No. 25 despite losing to Syracuse. He dropped them five spots from No. 20 the week prior. He did not rank Syracuse. I see...
- Frank Kush only dropped West Virginia two spots to No. 23. He did not rank Syracuse.
