The last time we beat Pitt was in 2004.  Right before He Who Shall Not be Named became coach. Coincidence?  Hardly.

It finally looks like this year we have the arsenal to take them on, and not only the home advantage, but also a year of missed expectations from the Panthers on which to capitalize.

The Pitt  team lost a lot of leadership last year, with 3 starters heading to the NBA - plus this year's punishing schedule.  All of that coupled with a rookie quarterback and a reshaped offensive line means Syracuse could really dominate them.

I personally am going to go to the game and scream til my lungs bleed, earnestly beleiving this will somehow propel them singularly to victory.
