Who writes these awful headlines? Oh...right...
Another day, another Florida recruit. Syracuse has picked up a commitment from defensive back Keondrick Lyn of Miramar High in Florida. Lyn is one of eight players on his roster expected to play college football...I don't think my high school has even sent eight guys to play college football all-time.
Lyn had previously verbally-committed to Northern Illinois but I suppose the pull of Syracuse, NY was too much for him. He was also apparently considering USF, Maryland, Eastern Michigan and Miami (OH). Rivals rates him a two-star player while Scout says just a one-star kind of guy. Lyn can play DB or safety and recorded 117 tackles and four interceptions this past season.
Check out the video below of Keodrick at Miramar and their crazy uniforms. There's also an interview with Keondrick on January 22nd where he says there was no front-runner for college choice at the time...guess we did something in the past week to change his mind.
