Delone Carter Is Not Done With Us Just Yet
As most of us suspected, Delone Carter chose to return at Syracuse for his fifth year of eligibility rather than take a risk on the NFL draft.
It's great news on all fronts. Delone will anchor what is sure to be an ever-improving backfield alongside Antwon Bailey, with assists from Averin Collier and Mike Jones. And for him personally, he'll get the chance to put up even better numbers and put more distance between the memory of his leg injury and the NFL draft. I would guess that would be a concern for him if he left this year.
The move even ensures that Syracuse is a Draft Declaration Winner, courtesy of Brian Bennett.
Most importantly, though, Delone's return means ample more opportunities to use this drawing:

According to the SU Athletics Dome page:
We seat approximately 49,250 persons for a sold-out Syracuse University football game.
According to Wikipedia, that number is 33,633 for basketball.
