Around SBN: Fighters React to Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

Thanks A Lot, Seth Davis

The title of Seth's weekend college hoops pick'm preview?  Syracuse will beat West Virginia in Morgantown.  Ugh.

College Basketball Gods, mighty in your ways, please note that this transgression did not come from us.  We don't even know the guy.  Please, be merciful.

Mike Waters takes a much safer route in discussing the brutal road ahead for the Orange.

Bob Huggins is ready for the Orange, especially Wes Johnson, whom he feels measures up to the Mountaineers.

"He’s as long as our guys."

Is that part of how we decide who wins now?

See you here tomorrow bright and early...

I can't tell if you're joking.

In case you aren’t, do you mean Seth Myers?

Bright and Early for You

A reasonable noon tip for the rest of us. Plus side – your weather is a million times better.

Downside

The earth shakes and it’s close to Japan.

But

close to Thailand. Bonus?

There's a crack on that

But even I am not willing to make it.

by Hoya Suxa on Jan 15, 2010 4:09 PM EST up reply actions

Thailand is awesome. Have to love a country that names it’s capital city BangCock.

those 9am starts have to be tough

I have to set an alarm and it’s noon for me! (I slept through the Pitt game a few weeks ago, woke up with 2 min left in the game)

So are you to blame for that loss?

I thought it was my fault since I didn’t wear my Syracuse scarf that week. But now that I know this information, I’m starting to feel a little less guilty.

It's going to be tough for me

I plan to have a Call of Duty weekend and the game is going to interrupt that.

Sadly I just got the game last weekend. Didn’t have a job for a while.

Of course Cuse Bball trumps everything, including sleep

Without Gerry McNamara we wouldn't have won 10 f-- games, not 10

Unfortunately

I will not be able to join the discussions tomorrow, as I’ll be at a Beer Summit starting at 12:30.

stunt double

Seth Davis for Matt Dillon.

Hey, I counteract Seth

I picked against Syracuse with better reasoning. I did my homework!

If the Orange and the Jets both lose this weekend

Then I will be unhappy with Seth Davis and will want to punch Bill Simmons in the face. Especially the latter case because he’s picking the Jets just to jinx them because he got everything wrong from saying the Jets were gonna get trampled to saying that rushing the ball and having a good defense means nothing in the playoffs (in other words, what the Jets do sucks)

by RyanMcD29 on Jan 15, 2010 9:08 PM EST reply actions

Seth Davis has a pretty solid track record picking games this year

but Bill Simmons just sucks. Terrible. He’s a squirmy little bastard.

Fuck em up fuck em up

GO SU KICK THE SHIT OUT OF WVU!

Yea, it rhyme’s, I think!

by actioncuse on Jan 15, 2010 10:56 PM EST reply actions

Since I’ve scheduled my return to campus for as soon as the game ends so that my WVU grad mother (no relation to my father, I swear) and I can sit around and snark at each other while watching the game. And I have this unfortunate feeling that I will be listing to her gloat for the entire four hour drive to Syracuse.

GO CUSE, BEAT THE INBREEDERS
