Yahoo Sports has Jonny Flynn rated as the number 2 overall rookie in the summer league right behind Blake Griffin

"Who needs Ricky Rubio when you have Jonny Flynn? The Timberwolves' second point-guard pick looked like a starter (and talked like one, too, in this NBA TV interview), showing off his unbelievable quickness while averaging 15.0 points and 7.4 assists. Flynn was in control and may just end up being the better of the Wolves' two rookie point guards."

Was there ever any doubt that no matter where Jonny ended up we would turn into star? The wolves traded Telfair and are basically handing the PG spot to him and hopefully he can suprise some people and help turn around a franchise that has been in trouble for quite awhile now

I think 5 or 10 years down the line when people look back at this draft they’re going to see Flynn as one of the top 2 or 3 players drafted this year. Despite his size this kid is going to be a player.
