Lance Stephenson?

Lancenike3_medium

I was looking at Syracuse's recruiting class this year and it doesn't have that big name player that we are used to seeing. With Lance Stephenson still uncommitted, why doesn't Boeheim go after him? With Flynn and Devendorf leaving, Syracuse basketball is going to need a playmaker and this kid looks like the real deal. He's from New York, so it's almost like he's playing at home. I mean he has St. John's on his list, so why doesn't Syracuse throw their name into the hat and make a play for this kid?

He has skills but is known as being selfish and playing out of control. Not a player that fits a system

Stephenson does not have outstanding quickness and athleticism,

Does not fit a zone system which looks for long athletic guys

Visited Maryland in Jan. ‘09…All-time scoring leader in the state of New York (2,946 points)…St. John’s and Maryland are reportedly out…Arizona and Memphis are leaders…

As long as he dosent go to uconn.

Rautins

We have Rautins playing the 2 this year and Waiters next year. It’s not a good fit at all. We don’t need a 2/3 seeing as though we are stacked at that position.

Rautins, Wes, Joseph, Mookie, Triche
