Syracuse-Siena Game Thread

It's the first round on the NCAA Lacrosse Tournament and the #1-ranked-yet-#2-seed (it's all a little complicated) Syracuse Orange (12-2) take on the Siena Saints (12-5).

Get your rootin' hats on, we're gonna need it. They've got God of their side:

Easy on the middle finger, Sister.

The winner takes on the winner of Notre Dame vs. Maryland for the right to take on either Duke or North Carolina in the Final Four.  If you need to get caught up on scores and highlights, check'm out.  Otherwise leave your pre-, in- or post-game comments below.

G'Orange.

So I don't get ESPNU.

Would it kill ESPN to stream these games on 360 knowing how many people aren’t graced with the U? And why are we only up by 4 at half? I read the in-game blog, but that only tells me so much. Nice to see White with a goal (and Miller assisting).

i think they want

you to complain to your cable company and be really pissed off you don’t get the U so you get cable companies to pick it up. That’s what I did and now I enjoy the U.

4-0 at the half.

Typical of the season, first-half offense gutting it out, defense shutting things down.

Siena is doing the intangibles better but SU’s talent is winning out. That’ll get us out of this round but it won’t get us much further.

Women's team doubles up BC

20 – 10… good day for SU LAX. Also playing Maryland in the next round.

Defense

Defense: yes. Offense: not so much. And Galloway had a great day playing with a thumb taped up so much it looks like a lacrosse ball.
