Carolina Panthers Choo Choo Choose Fiammetta
Tony Fiammetta was looking like he'd be around a 4th round pick in this year's NFL Draft. That turned out to be the case when he was drafted with the 28th pick in the 4th round by the Carolina Panthers. He'll come into camp challengeing imcumbant, 33-year-old Brad Hoover for the starting fullback job. Fiammetta for his part, is excited for the opportunity to be a member of the talented backfield and learn from Hoover:
"To be a fullback and go to such a powerful running offense, it's just an honor," Fiammetta said. "To block for Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams, it's going to be a great time. I'm looking forward to learning from Hoover and it's just going to be a great situation."
Mazel Tov to Tony and his family.

Usually
It’s rare for a 4th rounder not to make the team. Usually the 6th and 7th rounders are the ones that have to worry.
