The TNIAAM & Carmelo Basketball Facility Has A Nice Ring To It

Got an email on Friday, as many of you probably did, about the upcoming Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Facility.  The building will house two basketball courts, locker rooms and office facilities for the SU basketball program.  Might it also be engraved with your name upon it???

SU is looking for donors to purchase "brick pavers" that will be installed on the walkway leading up to the Center and those bricks will be engraved with whatever you want on them.

Purchase a brick paver to be installed in the walkway outside the new Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Facility. These individually engraved bricks will form the entranceway by which visitors will pass on their way into this state-of-the-art facility. By adding your name to a brick you will be joining countless other friends, fans, faculty, staff and alumni to pave the foundation for a promising future for all Syracuse University student-athletes.

Yes, I'm sure there's some kind of policy in place to make sure "Daryl Gross Licks Balls" isn't the first thing you see as you walk into the building.  But you don't HAVE TO just put your name there and call it a day, do you?

There's thee options...a 4x8 inch brick for $125, an 8x8 brick for $300 or the big mutha, a 24x24 brick for $5,000.  I would be lying if I said I hadn't checked to make sure that Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician fits in the 4x8 space requirements (it does).  Hmmm...let the mulling begin.

By the way, I'm going to assume that photo is just an example and not the actual walkway leading up to the Melo Center. Otherwise, we're apparently renting out the place for yoga on Tuesday and Thursdays:
