i dont believe flynn has ever worn a headband with a nike logo on it, they are always just straight white. serious advertising ploy by nike

he wore one with the logo against ASU – probably the game the SI cover photo is from (note the NCAA patch).
That’s from the Syracuse.com photo gallery for the game.
However, my roommate pointed that out to me that he hadn’t see him rocking the logo-emblazoned headband before.

i saw in a recent interview
he said he bruised his arm earlier in the year so he wore it and they started winning so ever since he has been wearing it as a good luck charm

This will be the photo Syracuse will use for the basis of his statue
when it is built around 2060.
And the Nike swoosh will stick around this time.
He is only the Regional cover
so Blake Griffin, Ty Lawson, and James Pargo will be getting the curse as well.
