Obama selects Syracuse to the Sweet Sixteen

ESPN has released an image of Obama's bracket.  As you can see it is not complete..after scrounging on the series of tubes, this is Obama's Final Four: Louisville, North Carolina, Memphis and Pittsburgh will be heading to Ford Field.

Some observations from the image:

  • Andy Katz discussing with the President with what appears Andy's expression saying "Upset, Come on".
  • Mich. St. in the Sweet Sixteen?!  Hmm either he knows something I don't know about the Big Ten or he is looking ahead to 2012.
  • VCU with the upset over UCLA
  • Syracuse vs. Oklahoma with the winner losing to NC

No Zags?  Where are the cinderellas?  Seems like a conservative liberal to me. Definitely going to fill a bracket out to see how I stack up against the Prez on ESPN.

But after meeting for two consecutive days with athletic director Debbie Yow, Friedgen was given the go-ahead to make plans for a 10th season as coach at his alma mater.
