34 Days Till Selection Sunday!

Check out how the bracket scientists out there thought Syracuse and other teams were sitting as of this Monday...

We are as low as a 7 seed according to Joe Lunardi and as high as a 5 seed in some people's minds.

I really think we HAVE to get to a 6 seed or betteron actual Selection Sunday because the 2-seed line is going to be so strong this year with Michigan State, Wake Forest and Duke all probably going to be there.

Wouldn't get ahead of yourself just yet

I just hope we can finally get back to the NCAA’s. This season is headed towards a 4th straight NIT worthy regular season…

4th straight NIT worthy regular season….Can that be more clear? The miracle BET run in 2006 would only make a 3rd straight NIT season, but we were definitely an NIT team that year based on the regular season.

If we get 9 BE wins I think we are in.

If one of those remaining 3 wins is Nova, UConn or Marquette even better. Beating Cincy in the Dome will be worth something now that they are playing well if we can do it. A BE tourney win or two would be nice to seal the deal though. If we win 10 games, with our non-conference this year and being in the BE, I don’t know how we aren’t in. And 10 is what I think we will have. I think we beat G-town, St John’s, Rutgers and grab another one. Probably Cincy.

bottom line

11 total wins in some combo of the regular season and the BE tournament and any team in the Big East is an absolute throw the key away lock.

You said what I said.

But you said it a much nicer and compact package.
