I found this snippet on the GREATFUL VOL, a UT blog
And of course there is David Oku, the #1 All-purpose RB and long-time UT committment. To be frank, I am tired of writing about Oku. If there ever was a highschool prima-donna, Oku is it. After being a solid committment to UT up until 2 weeks before NSD, he is now no longer committed. He spent the final two weekends visting Auburn and Syracuse but yet he is upset that UT is recruiting Bryce Brown. When Oku committed to UT, he was the 4th back in the class. But after decommittments from Dominick Allen, Jarvis Giles, and now Oku, UT has only signed one RB in the 2009 class. Not only should he not be surprised that UT desires a second RB in the 2009 class, he has absolutely no room to talk. The offer is sitting on the table, but no one knows what his deal is or where he will sign. I would love to have Oku considering I fell in love with his highlight videos almost a year ago. But at this point, I nor most VOLS fans give a crap where he goes. Auburn runs a spread offense which he publicly said he would not play in if UT hired a spread coach. Not only that, Auburn signed 3 RBs on NSD. And Syracuse, please. Take one look at Syracuse's class and you will see what I am talking about. As long as we get one of the other, I don't care. Either way, it appears it will be a headache.
