Calhoun is full of it...

Not a news flash... but I was at the game tonight.. when Harris stuffed home a game-tying dunk early in the 2nd half, he grabbed the ball a moment and tried to give it back to the ref...

After he ran down court, Calhoun was manically yelling at the ref out of the coaches box, obviously trying to get a 'T' on Harris.

Of course after the game, Calhoun brushes it off...

"Paul Harris ... I've known probably since he was a freshman in high school. ... He and I were joking during the game. He said something and I said something back. Just kidding with him and then Jimmy Burr came into the situation. I have great respect for Paul. He's a terrific competitor."

I call BS... Harris himself said he didn't say anything to Calhoun.. and why would he say something to a head coach while jogging back on defense in the middle of the game?!

Just another reason why Calhoun is a PUNK.

Calhoun...Auriemma

Both are assholes. UConn really scored in the “hire an asshole two decades ago” sweepstakes

They did a hand slap

after talking about it as if to say “we cool”

That call really pissed me off

It was a huge, momentum-shifting play, but that was killed by the refs listening to Calhoun’s whining. The ball just happened to come to Harris after the dunk, so he grabbed it and flipped it backwards toward the end line. Players do that all the time. Calhoun was just manipulating the refs to basically get a free timeout.

Go, fight, and win.

Why would Harris say anything to an opposing coach? Him and the others talk all game long, why would this be a surprise?

I was pretty close to this incident. Calhoun went absolutely NUTS. So much so that he just walked on the court to say something to Harris, then he immediately went and tattled to Jim Burr. About a minute after the "cool off" talk from the referee, Calhoun again stepped on the court and did a little handshake. I don’t think Paul meant any ill will by it, but it sure pissed the hell out of Calhoun.

UConn Fans...

Orange:4.. Wouldn’t you agree the UConn student section paid an inordinate amount of time recognizing the SYracuse fan section?

“WE CAN’T HEAR YOU!” multple times… Being spurned to cheer louder when the Cuse section got audibly louder than the rest of the crowd..

I can’t recall Dome crowds or any real home team giving that much attention to a sliver of road fans cheering before

Yes

I was in the Syracuse section, and the uconn students paid more attention to us than the game. “sit down fat ass” was a one they did. For some reason, they couldn’t figure out how loud those benches are if you slap them, so our “lets go orange” drowned out whatever it was they said in response.

this shows how intellegent uconn fans are

***Sign seen in the student section: “Happy Birthday, Austrie.” Except Craig Austrie’s birthday is March 17, a month away. It was Thabeet’s 22nd birthday, however. Not a very happy one

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest.
