SU Sells Louiszell On Orange
Go East, young man. The young man in question would be 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive lineman Louiszell Alexander who committed to play for the Orange today. Alexander is a JUCO transfer from College of the Canyons in Palmdale, CA.
Louiszell committed after his official visit to Syracuse this past weekend and he chose the Orange over Oregon, UCLA and Washington. He might just have a chance to show the Huskies what they missed out on when SU travels to Seattle this upcoming season.
Alexander was a preseason JUCO All-American heading into this past season. No specific videos of Alexander on YouTube but if you peruse the College of the Canyons highlight reels, you can make out No. 55 from time to time.

Getting some JUCO's here and there might be a good way for us to improve quicker.
I like it. And I like it even more knowing that he had three west coast schools after him, one of which will be in the Rose Bowl in 3 weeks.
outa site!
there is well over 100+comm colleges in ca, and i think there is like 3 leagues for ca jucos. even cal bears, along with all the pac 10 schools, recruit the ca juco ranks.and coming from a juco, he allready has had 2 more years out of hs, of coaching, emotional and mental maturity. and unlike some of the hs talent, at this point, u are aware if the juco kids have any problems. that is great, that marrone is recruiting not only kids out of florida , but juco kids as well!
never mind
thats old news…. but ESPN did say:
Among his other offers were Florida State, Iowa, Louisville, Rutgers, Troy and Western Kentucky.
Odd
because we discussed him last week
Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician - The Syracuse blog that cares.
Is anyone
still sad about the OL guys who quit? I think when they saw giant JUCO guys coming on recruiting trips they realized their time was over.
