Adding a 9th member will do that by solving the scheduling imbalance and make our champions more credible. Nova is a powerhouse sub division squad and could make the jump like current members UConn and USF did. The coaches already have established recruiting ties in the area, California and Florida.

This gets brought up often

yet never shows even a hint of movement towards reality. It appears that Nova is content to field a dominant 1-AA program in perpetuity. Too bad, too, because it is the perfect solution in a lot of ways.

Maybe if the Big Eleven raids a team from the Big East, and the league faces a crisis, it turns up the pressure on them.
