PrintIn what was originally shaping up as an already exciting Elmira Bulldogs season opener has just taken a even more sudden twist. Game rosters for Saturday were due to the league office by 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10. A last minute addition to the game roster for the visiting Hudson Valley Hype is former Syracuse University star player Louie McCroskey....
..."We had no idea a former Syracuse University star was going to be on the Hudson Valley Hype roster," stated bulldogs head coach and general manager James R. Schutz. "This game has taken a whole new meaning, and with all the Syracuse University fans in the area, I hope fans show up early enough so they can get a seat before they are all gone."
Umm, so when did Louis McCroskey become a star player at SU. Last I remembered, he was a headcase who couldn't shoot and seemed to dribble the ball off his leg/foot more than any player I've ever seen. All I know is that you better show up early for this one, because Louie is filling up the gym for the Elmira Bulldogs season opener.

Agreed.
I’d be sitting first row. I actually just looked up the box score from the National Championship game earlier (side note: this is the only place that I don’t feel weird admitting that I randomly did that) and he played 27 minutes, put in 12 points, got 2 assists (2 TO…), and 3 steals. Not to mention the 20 he put in against OK St and 15 against Manhattan. He was a big contributor to that team.
