Haha
The show for a 9pm, weeknight game against UAlbany – the revered Danes! Yet they can’t roll out of bed in time for a noon football game (where they can drink away their hangover and make a new one for Sunday morning). Well, better than them not showing up, that’s for sure. Gotta put a good product out there to get butts in the seats I guess – so hopefully the student section will fill out in the coming years under Marrone.
In any case, I’m thrilled that bball season has started.
It is hard to get motivated to watch a team lose, I did not miss a game over the 4 yrs of the grob era (my 4 yrs as a student) but boy was it deflating to watch it each week.
MORE IMPORTANTLY: BBALL IS HERE AND WE GOT WIN #1!!

Yup
If you build it, they will come.
Solid win tonight – definite room for improvement, but at least the defense looked good. What struck me most was that Kris Joseph looks like a totally different player – he dropped a few pounds, seemed to be lighter on his feet, and more aggressive. Same for Scoop (compared to his freshman year obviously). Good stuff tonight.
To be fair, Basketball is greater than football and it is much more fun cheering for a good team over a bad team.

deserves some love though, every time I see a shot of the crowd in football or basketball I seem to see his shiny cheesehead.

Here is the reason
It comes down to waiving keys on 3rd down (LAME) or yelling a profane remix to the “Hey” chant.
Thats why no one shows up to football.
Haven't we had this discussion like 100 times before?
Students don’t want to watch bad football. They will watch good basketball. End of story.

Yeah, but I don't think it hurts to drive home the point over and over again
that these people are making the football program look even worse than it already is.
