Dantley
Anyone know whether Cam Dantley got into the game Saturday? I wasn't able to watch it or follow the action online. He didn't throw a pass, obviously, but I can't tell whether he got on the field at the end. Call me sentimental, but I think it would have been a nice gesture to put him in at QB for the last series, where you know they are just going to hand the ball off four times and run down the clock. I know he had his big moment last season vs. ND, but still. For a senior to go from starter to third-string, and he hasn't complained or anything. He did his best for a couple of really bad teams, and I think it would be great if he got a chance to be applauded by the home fans one last time. So, does anyone who watched or listened -- or was in attendance, for that matter -- know whether this happened?

Agreed
He has definitely played the role of good soldier, and even though his career here was nothing to write home about, he did give us that nice (and surprising) upset in South Bend last year. Given the fact that his dad was a former ND great in hoops, I’m sure it meant a lot to him, as well as to us. The way he has carried himself this year has been nothing short of dignified.
