Why would he have informed school officials that he is not returning to the team next year? I’m pretty sure that when you quit something, you have to ask to come back…not let them know you’re not coming back. Say you quit your job – you don’t have to send an email 3 weeks later reminding your former boss that you are still not going to be coming into work. Stupid.

Also, I agree with MrPlow – that article makes HCDM look like he suspended them for the accident (also neglects to mention that the accident was not their fault) instead of for paying a visit to The Stone for a post-game gambling session.
