Gross-Out Syracuse Sports History - Winner
We got many wonderful entries in the Gross-Out Syracuse Sports History contest. I'd like to think DOC Gross now feels like he was there for every single seminal (teehee) event in SU athletics history. And is most cases, took the spotlight.
But out of the 9 semifinalists, it's the Daryl Gross Statue, courtesy of Alex 0 that wins the day...

The plaque was a nice touch and, let's face it, we all know Bruno Lucchesi has been contacted about a first-draft on this version. And this time gratuitous Nike logos won't be a problem!
Alex, email me your address and the T-shirt is yours! Thanks to all you entered and voted.

Aww man, I thought I had a shot with my boxhead on the cheerleader too damn. In all seriousness, congrats Alex since considering the irony of the Nike deal and Dr. Gross’s love of money/spotlight, this was not only great idea but also great job with the photoshop.

Nice job!
I wonder if that statue would be like one of those creepy paintings where no matter where you move it’s always looking at you with that creepy smile.
Go Orange!

Woohoo!
You’ll notice I did use the nikefied original version of the statue. I figured the good doctor would want it that way.
Go, fight, and win.
