Syracuse vs. Cincinnati Predictions

Predictions have started rolling in for this weekend's game and they all seem to follow a consistent them. Syracuse will show up, put points on the board but Cincinnati will just be too much to handle.

Rush at Three Idiots says Cincy 38, SU 24.

Brian at Orange44 says Cincy 41, SU 27

As for me, I'm going to follow suit. It's a good type of prediction to make. It covers your bases...you get to show you have faith in Syracuse to remain competitive and show up but you also get to prove you're not an insane person.

I'm going Cincy 34, SU 17.

SU 27-Cinn 24

Okay. The front four plus Derrell Smith plays up to the Bone (tremendouslly) ; Nico Scott brings out the Beast for Halloween (the kind that doesn’t give up 80yd TDs), Paulus doesn’t throw any ill-advised ints, they win the turnover battle, Mike Williams goes ballistic on the first play like Tommy Kane against Penn State in ‘87, the Line blocks, the RBs manage to keep Cincy’s high-octane offense off the field, and Cincy comes out flat anyway.

They might also get blown out.

Cincy 28, Syracuse 20. I really, really want to pick the Orange here. And I do have a good feeling about the game, but, I have to be realistic.

28-20 realistic?

As much as i would love for SU to someway pull off the win here or be close, I just can’t see it, the Bearcats have been only really challenge once this season and the was early in the season and they still won by 8.

They team has been on a tear lately including against USF who gave us a two touchdown beat down.

Here’s to hoping that we finish out the season on a 3 game winning streak for a 6-6 record.
