Has anyone seen DePaul play this season?
Should we be worried about a trap game or do we rebound from a close USF game and blow them out? They are 8-7, 1-3 on the road.
It looks like this team cant shoot the three (Memphis)
DePaul (8-7, 0-2 BIG EAST) shot .351 from the field and just 3-for-19 free three-point range.
Odd on we play zone the whole time?
They dont have a true point guard, with three guys avg 2 assists per. Hopefully this is where Johnny breaks out of his funk
Devo gets to go against home town home boy Jabari Currie
Their two best players are 6'5" forward Dar Tucker, who seems to be a match up problem if we go big as Ricky wont be able to cover him and Kristof could have a tough time, and 6'10" 255 center Mac Koshwa. Any time your center is named Mac... hes got to be good.
So the question of the day:

not too worried
I watched the ending of the DePaul/Providence game Saturday on our fabulous local TV here (MeTV advertises us for Wednesday’s game as ’Orangemen’). You are correct, DePaul cannot shoot from the perimeter. This team is nothing like the one that blasted us nearly 3 years ago. If the zone is working like it should and not feed the big boys inside, it could be a long night for them in the dome. BUT, these are the Orange, and probably will have another ‘close’ game. I think we win by 12. I’m worried about Rutgers at the RAC though…
Saw them
against ND and against UCLA the whole games. They are much much better at home. Dar Tucker is their lone good outside shooter and he had a very good game at home against ND. Koshwal is a beast inside and could cause problems on the glass given SU’s penchant for giving up offensive rebounds. He played Harangody to a draw.
SU will pack it in and make Depaul beat them from the outside. Depaul isn’t very deep either so if they get in foul trouble it will be a long night for them.
I can't remember who they've lost to, but
DePaul has a couple really ugly losses in the non-conference. Ken Pomeroy’s stats has Syracuse as a 94% chance to win.

We never
blow anyone out like we should. And yes, Seton Hall doesn’t count any longer. This game will be too close.
