I read this blog called "DCist" and they get most of their photos from a collection of photos placed by flickr users in their DCist Flickr pool. I subscribe to the pool's RSS feed and sift through the photos as they are submitted each day.

Today I was reading all the new posts in my Google Reader and saw the linked photo pop up. I did a double take when I saw it wasn't from one of the 27 different Orange blogs that are out there, but instead something local.
