I got an email response from the university about the "White Out" against Villanova.

Coach Jim Boeheim as you may know is heavily involved with Coaches vs. Cancer and the American Cancer Society.  As a fund raising initiatve and to build awareness, the Cancer Soicety has created all white t-shirts in support of the fight against cancer.  They plan on selling these at the Villanova game and hope to "White Out" the dome to build awareness.  This is not a direct promotion from Syracuse University but with our close ties to the foundation we would like to support it 100%.

Syracuse University is planning an Orange Out for the Georgetown game at home this year.  This will encourage all our fans to wear orange in front of  the entire national television audience.
