Is DOCTOR Gross 20 years older than his wife?

PrintI might be late to the party on this again (like Devo's Madelyn tattoo on the back of his neck), but posted in a comment by "Otis Hill", I saw Lael Gross's SU Athletics bio. She is DOCTOR Gross's wife, and also the Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing.
In there is this:
She earned her USC degree in business with an emphasis in marketing and international business in 2001.
That sounds like an undergraduate degree to me, and it is the same year I received mine. So assuming there's no reason she received an undergrad degree at an older age (going back to school, etc), she should be about my age. I'm 29 and towards the bottom of my class' age. So she is likely anywhere from 29 to 31.
I don't see a birthday or age for Gross doing a quick search, but he got "a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California at Davis, where he was a football wide receiver from 1979 to 1981." He must have graduated that year.
2001 minus 1981 = twenty year difference. Is DOCTOR Gross 20 years older than his wife? Again, I apologize if we already knew this. Do we have any clue to the story behind their marriage? Did Gross and her meet while she was working at USC? Before she started working there? Inquring minds want to know!

If Orange:44 can weigh in I think he knows a lot
but what I remember about it, she was an intern/low level employee in the USC athletic department. Got brought to Cuse along with the DOCTOR. He then leaves his wife and marries her. This could all be in my head, but I think I remember reading or hearing this.

Which, I think everyone thought was kind of funny for someone with only three years experience and no Masters Degree. Surprise surprise, Daryl gets a divorce. Not that this was not already the talk of the athletic department. Sure enough Lael now has the last name of Gross. Funny how things work out like that.

because we fans and alumni pay his ridiculous salary for running our athletic department into the ground. Therefore pay his alimony and child support payments.
He should have spent less time interviewing potential 2nd wives and more time working on our football program.
BTW the marketing department for SU has sucked hard for since gross got there. They put signs on a few cabs (that you cant read because the font is too small), fucked up the uniforms, plaster gross all over everything and… hmmm… Oh yea! THE WHITE OUT!

Marketing has been horrible
The only thing they have done is put that orange padding all over the dome to “spruce” it up……there was rumors of ribbon boards, you know the boards that light up that you see all around ever other major arena in the world…….but nothing yet…..
and did anyone hear D. Gross the other day when he called in to the axeman show? He sounded drunk, used words like “pimp” and “playa” and was talking like he was ghetto……seriously?

but I can see how you would get that from what i wrote. To further explain…….I dont pass judgment on others for what they deem to be the right thing to do for them, and the younger woman thing is just a perk……..for the sake of making a point and blogging I used terms like “tapping” and “piece of ass” to emphasize my point…..Women make us all do things we wouldnt normally do……..I dont think Gross has been the best representation of the University, but he is just a window into where America is going…….

are nothing more then a joke anyways. finally a black author female few years ago announced she was sick and tired of cheezy rapmeisters braggng about selling har d drugs , calling females ho’s and bitches, etc. but the typical white upper class female femi nazi was total silent on the issue for years.and my mistake if i miss interepted the paragraph. and last but not least- how come no college has hired a samoan football coach? and when u talk about minorities being represented in college and pro football, very few multi cultural influence there pour le example , native americans, asians, and latinos,etc.. in americans national pastime.
