I might be late to the party on this again (like Devo's Madelyn tattoo on the back of his neck), but posted in a comment by "Otis Hill", I saw Lael Gross's SU Athletics bio. She is DOCTOR Gross's wife, and also the Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing.

In there is this:

She earned her USC degree in business with an emphasis in marketing and international business in 2001.

That sounds like an undergraduate degree to me, and it is the same year I received mine. So assuming there's no reason she received an undergrad degree at an older age (going back to school, etc), she should be about my age. I'm 29 and towards the bottom of my class' age. So she is likely anywhere from 29 to 31.

I don't see a birthday or age for Gross doing a quick search, but he got "a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California at Davis, where he was a football wide receiver from 1979 to 1981." He must have graduated that year.

2001 minus 1981 = twenty year difference. Is DOCTOR Gross 20 years older than his wife? Again, I apologize if we already knew this. Do we have any clue to the story behind their marriage? Did Gross and her meet while she was working at USC? Before she started working there? Inquring minds want to know!
