Yowza
Not an especially great game, peeps.
Need a huge bounceback effort from the ’Boys v. Notre Dame.
Let’s get this started already:

I dont think this was as bad as it looked
We lost to a top 15 team on the road.
We have 2 losses, one in conference. I know it only gets worse but we have a home game next. That helps a lot.
Andy did not tear his ACL… that could have been a lot worse.
We “flashed” quite a bit during that game. Ricky especially.
Let be honest here, that was a freak heavens aligning game where Georgetowns bench came out like that autistic kid who hit all those threes on sports center on the same night EVERYONE on our team was colder than Syracuse is today.
Jimmy B didnt even look upset. He had that “oh well” smile on because it was just an off night… nothing you can do and it happens sometimes. Im sure he will look at this as a “teaching opportunity.” Get on the guys, refocus our D and take us down a peg to back to that underdog roll we played so well in. This is why no one wanted to see us ranked this high because RANKINGS DONT MATTER. RPI and resume do. Tourney seeds do (as long as we are not a 5)
Im not saying loosing is a good thing, but its not the end of the world. We have a shot to get it back at home which Im going to so we better kick ass…. Orange out?

Being there was tough. Hoya fans are d*uchebags.
Lackluster D and Hoyas playing out of their minds wasn’t a good combination. Seemed to me the refs were pretty f-ing terrible as well, alternating between being ticky-tac and not calling anything (I’m remembering a particularly egregious Gtown travel non-call, but I think Flynn had one that coulda been called too).
The game nearly gave me an aneurysm.

1/28 Cuse at Providence
Our boys need road support, that’s for sure. For anyone in New England, there are good seats still available for the “Blackout Game” on Wed. 1/28.
I have a group of 5 going to the game, we ordered tics today through the Providence College Ticket office. 401-865-4672.
Our orangeness will definitely stick out in the crowd.
Taking the commuter rail down from South Station in Boston to Providence. Anyone want to turn that into a party train?
