AP Poll Voters Value Cleveland State Much More Than Memphis

How else do you explain Syracuse dropping six points to #17 in the latest AP Poll?  A loss on a last-second miracle shot to a NCAA Tournament team and a huge win on the road against the defending national runner-up cancel each other out, so I would think.  Throw in another win over a lesser opponent and I don't think the Orange should have dropped any more than 2-3 spots.  But what do I know?

The Orange are #14 in the Coaches Poll.  Nice to know at some voters actually watched the Memphis game.  The coaches also kept Memphis in the rankings at #23...a nod to how highly they value the Orange.
