The Coaches Poll Is Really High On Long Beach State

I mean, they must be.  Otherwise, in a week where SU only played one game and potentially lost one of their leading scorers, they wouldn't have moved the Orange from #16 last week to #11 this week.  The Orange remained at #11 in the AP Poll to make things even.

The Coaches Poll has 7 Big East teams in their Top 15.  Boom, bitch.

UConn/Pittsburgh remained #2/#3 in both, Louisville is at 9th, Notre Dame is #12/#14, Georgetown #15/#13, Villanova is #18/#15 and Marquette is #24/#23.

what have you been watching???? kansas florida cornell a good team oakland has good wins even viginia is better than advertised memphis will be the best test when we get to them but i wouldnt say weve done nothing

this team

played best as an under the radar team that was snubbed.

They are that high based on their record. The kansas game could have gone either way, we needed a Flynn prayer to go into OT and they played like shit so I dont think we are any better than they are.

If we win some games in the BE, 11 is fine, but its still too early considering we beat 2 young rebuilding teams and had close games with UVa and Cornell.

I agree

I mean, we’ve won some games, but #11 is way too high at this point. I’d be much more comfortable with being overlooked and then reaching the top 10 after a few big wins in Big East play.
