Let's Not Be Cavalier About This
Virginia Cavaliers at Syracuse Orange, Nov 28, 2008 7:00 PM EST
The Orange, excuse me, the 5-0 Orange, excuse me, the College Basketball Experience Champion Orange take on the 3-1 Virginia Cavaliers tonight at 7pm EST. The Cavs are coming off a loss to Liberty, or maybe it's The Liberty, I'm not exactly sure. Still, all the more reason for the Orange to step on the throat early. Otherwise, this has trap game written all over it.

What is Happening?
I can’t watch the game all I see is the score, what the f!!?
In a weird way...
I wasn’t surprised when I saw the halftime score. I thought “of course we’re losing by double-digits”. And then I remembered it wasnt 2006 and now I’m confused.
I gasped...
…and then I realized that this is actually what I expected deep down inside.
But I’m hoping that in an hour we’ll be saying, “Last year, this team wouldn’t have made that come back.” We shall see…
Any luck in finding a video stream online?
The bar i went to doesnt have full court like they did last year :(
Maybe its a good thing
is it over?
yahoo says they’re up 3 with 19 seconds left
BTW Rautins
How the fk is he not automatic from the line being that he is our token white guy shooter???
heads explodes
Some of those guys that
only shoot 3s lose all kind of perception at the line..
Virginia took almost 20 more shots than SU. They would have lost to any decent team with that kind of discrepancy. How many turnovers did they have? Geez.
Upside/Downside
Upside
Still undefeated. Et tu, Georgetown?
Downside
I’m rationalizing SU’s performance by playing the “still undefeated” card.
Give em a Break
3 games in 5 days with Thanksgiving in between! They looked flat, they are tired.
Good thing the Crowd got into this game, i dont know if they would have come back with out the crowd.
Good thing they got Colgate next, they need an easy win.
I agree
Two games out of New York before December, both of them to opponents who should be in the tournament, one of them very physically and emotionally draining, and an overtime game at that. one day off, Thanksgving, then another game against a shitty opponent. I’ll take this win. The FT will eventually bite them in the ass if that doesn’t improve, but this really is a game I see us losing last year.
Now if Colgate is close, we have problems.
