Jim, You Can Say No
One of the things I miss out on being so far away from Central New York is all of the local endorsements and advertising that comes with the regional celebrity that only college coaching can provide. Lord knows how many awkward Jim Boeheim commercials I've missed out on. But while trawling the Watertown Daily Times website (don't ask), I came across this beauty to the right here. Let's just say I hope they're paying Jim with more than just a lifetime of free "double meat" orders.
How do you pronounce Jreck anyway? It's always bothered me cause I pronounce it like "dreck." And as any good Jewish boy knows, that's not a compliment. Clearly, the founder of the company was not Yiddish.
The Pork BBQ sandwich on the menu was probably a tip-off as well.

1) "Jay-wreck"- this way you say it as two words.
2) "Jjjjreck"- said as one word with the soft G sound...(think Giraffe)
But if you've ever tasted one, dreck is apparently not far off....
