Daily Orange Sports Blog caught wind of this story that mentions Kentucky is interested in former Orange and habitual school-changer Mike Jones. According to a source familiar with the situation, former USC basketball signee 6-6 Mike Jones is now being recruited by Kentucky and was scheduled to be on the UK campus this weekend. Jones, the former prep All America from Lower Richland, signed last year with Syracuse but transferred to USC in December. His scholarship was not renewed by USC and he enrolled this summer at Indian Hills Junior College in Iowa.
That's University of South Carolina, just to clear up any confusion. South Carolina casually calling itself USC is like LaDanian Tomlinsion calling himself LT...just not right.
Anyway, good luck with that Coach Gillespie. Might want to get your tutors lined up now.
